Introduction:
DPS is excited to announce a logo design contest open to all our members! We
are seeking a fresh, visually compelling logo that effectively represents our
mission which is: The
mission of the Society is to promote excellence in patient centered care,
strengthen the profession and be a strong advocate for all Delaware Pharmacists
and Pharmacy Technicians. The winning design will become the
official logo of DPS and will be used on all our materials, including our
website, social media, brochures, and merchandise.
Contest Goals:
- To create a visually appealing and memorable logo for
the Delaware Pharmacy Society
- To accurately reflect our mission and core values.
- To foster creativity and engagement among our members.
Eligibility:
- The contest is open to all current members of DPS
- Employees or board members may participate.
- Family members of employees or board members may also
participate.
Submission Guidelines:
- Format: Submissions must be submitted digitally in the
following formats:
- Vector format (e.g.,
.ai, .eps, .svg) for scalability.
- High-resolution raster
format (e.g., .png, .jpg) for web and print use.
- Color: Designs should be submitted in both full color and
grayscale/black and white versions.
- Design Elements:
- Designs should be
original and not infringe on any existing copyrights.
- Designs should be
clean, clear, and easily recognizable at various sizes.
- Designs should be
versatile and adaptable for use across different media.
- Designs should be
submitted with a brief written explanation (no more than 250 words)
describing the concept behind the design and how it relates to DPS's
mission.
- Submission Method: All submissions must be
emailed to: tkolak1060@yahoo.com

subject line "Logo Design Contest Submission - [Your Name]."
- Deadline: All submissions must be
received by Midnight, Friday, April 25, 2025. Late submissions will not be considered.
- File Naming: Please name your files
in the following format: "[Your Name]_Logo_[Color/Grayscale].[File
Extension]"
Judging Criteria:
Submissions will be judged based on the following criteria:
- Relevance to Mission and Values (30%): How well does the
design reflect the mission and core values of DPS?
- Originality and Creativity (25%): How unique and
innovative is the design?
- Visual Appeal and Aesthetics (20%): How visually pleasing
and impactful is the design?
- Versatility and Scalability (15%): How well does the
design function across different media and sizes?
- Clarity and Simplicity (10%): How easy is the design
to understand and recognize?
Judging Process:
- A committee comprised of DPS Board Members will
evaluate all submissions.
- The committee will select a winning design based on the
judging criteria.
- The committee reserves the right to request revisions
from the finalist(s) before making a final decision.
- The winner will be announced at the 2025 Convention
Social event on May 7th 2025 in Smyrna.
Prize:
- The winning designer will receive free attendance at Annual Convention 2026
- The winning design will become the official logo of DPS
Rights and Ownership:
- By submitting a design, the designer grants DPS
full and exclusive ownership of the winning design, including all
copyrights and intellectual property rights.
- DPS reserves the right to modify or adapt the winning
design as needed.
- All non-winning submissions remain the property of
their designers.
Terms and Conditions:
- DPS reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest
at any time.
- By participating in the contest, entrants agree to
abide by these rules and criteria.
- The decision of the judging committee is final and
binding.
